Stoneflower Studio is the result of long hours; trial, error, mess, and broken vases. What started years ago has today become a refined process of delicately forming fine clay into relics of an ancient craft. From the hands of Susan Ballew comes some of the most beautifully unique and original pieces, just waiting to be cherished by those who value authenticity, artistry, and the quiet story each handmade work carries into their home.

For over a decade, I’ve patiently shaped my journey in pottery — learning through trial and discovery, refining my skills piece by piece, and sculpting my craft into the art I’m proud to share today. It all began when I got my hands on a collection of antique slip molds that nobody seemed to want... but I knew they had potential and wanted to see what I could make of them. One thing led to another and now I have a decent selection of individually unique and original pieces waiting for their forever home; for somebody to cherish them just as I did bringing them to life!
